Morning Pointe Spreads Holiday Cheer At Christmas Parade

Residents, associates and families of Morning Pointe of Collegedale at Greenbriar Cove and The Lantern participated in the annual Ooltewah-Collegedale Spirit of Christmas parade. Guests of all ages arrived early to witness the seasonal spectacle, as the residents at the assisted living and memory care communities cruised down Little Debbie Parkway to spread Christmas cheer. Santa Claus arrived on the Morning Pointe fire truck -- a 1924 Lincoln Pumper.

 

As part of Morning Pointe's life enrichment program, residents look forward to holiday celebrations and other community activities throughout the year.

Neighbor Takes Photo Of Burglar; Brian Alex Stone Arrested

A neighbor who went over to check on a house break-in has led to the arrest of Brian Alex Stone Jr. Stone, 23, of 3210 Broad St., is charged with aggravated burglary and theft of property. Police were notified on Dec. 1 that a burglary had just taken place on Trailwood Drive. The suspect was a black male with twists in his hair, who was driving a silver Dodge Caliber. ...
