Wednesday, January 3, 2018

Would you mock victims of rape? Domestic violence? Child molestation? Sex trafficking?

Then why would you make a mockery of victims of racial injustices, Roy? Sure, there are instances where claiming racism may not be warranted. There are also instances where accusations of rape, domestic violence, molestation, sex-trafficking are either exaggerated or unwarranted. Racism is real. It remains prevalent and a driving and dividing force in America. To ignore that fact or mock it is to make a joke of and mock victims of every injustice and wrong.

The point is, for those who are victims or have been victims it's nothing to mock, and certainly nothing to make light of.

You should expect better of yourself, Roy.
