Teenager Seriously Injured In Cliff Jumping Accident At Hidden Harbor

A teenager was seriously injured in a cliff jumping accident at the Hidden Harbor subdivision on Monday.

At 6:30 p.m., the Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department responded to 6612 Water View Lane on a high fall accident.

Dallas Bay VFD personnel reported teenagers were cliff jumping into the lake. A teenage male fell 40 feet below and sustained serious injuries after hitting the water. The Dallas Bay VFD had to hike 1/4 mile down the trail to the teen, strapped him in and carried him out to Hamilton County EMS personnel.

The injured teenager was transported to the hospital.
