Keith Grant For Signal Mountain Town Judge

Monday, June 11, 2018

I would like to endorse Keith Grant for the position of Signal Mountain town judge. Keith is a partner at Robinson, Smith, and Wells. During his 16 years of practicing law, he has tried numerous cases including criminal jury trials, civil trials, and administrative hearings. Currently he focuses primarily on medical malpractice defense and municipality defense, while continuing to practice criminal and domestic law as well.

Keith is married to Karen Rennick Grant, the deputy director of the Chattanooga/Hamilton County Regional Planning agency. She is the chair of the Signal Mountain Design Review Commission, as well. Keith and Karen have two children, Isaac and Wyatt. They moved to Signal Mountain because of its small town feel, safe neighborhoods, and good schools.

Keith has coached numerous children's sports teams. He is an active member of his church and currently serves as the chairman of the board of directors for the Children's Nutrition Program of Haiti.

From getting to know Keith, I feel that his motivation for running for judge of Signal Mountain is his sincere desire to serve the community of Signal Mountain with his legal expertise. I am going to vote for him, and I am currently wearing his T-shirt on my walks around Old Town. I recommend that all Signal Mountain citizens support him as well. I know he would be grateful for your vote.

Bothersome Robo Calls

I receive several (three or more) scammer calls, insurance offers, credit card monitoring services, security services, unknown callers, etc., every day. They come in mostly on my home number but those coming to my cell number seem to be increasing.  Those are mostly unknown callers, no number so you can't block them.  Googling the numbers sometimes confirms they are ... " The wise man's understanding turns him to his right; the fool's understanding turns him to the left. Thus says the Lord." The rest of the chapter is also worth reading. Democrats, Liberals, Progressives are all the same, the only thing they want is power over people since they ... (click for more)

Silverdale's Chase Cook Inks Scholarship With Bryan College

When Gray Ange arrived at Silverdale Baptist Academy two years ago to take over the baseball program one of the first players he heard about was the so-called crafty lefthander Chase Cook. “Most left-handed pitchers who are not your typical velocity guys get tagged with that ‘crafty’ description because they make a living throwing off speed to spots. They find ways to ... (click for more)

Fairyland Swimmers Upset Country Club

The Fairyland Flash had their best swim meet of the season at home Tuesday night when they beat the Country Club Wavemakers by a single point, handing the visitors their first loss of the season after four straight wins. Country Club had prevailed by a lopsided 466-322 margin just last Thursday, but the Flash was more than ready for the competition the second time around. ... (click for more)
