Mountain View Auto Group Family To Open Hyundai Dealership In Ringgold

The Mountain View family is expanding their dealership group by adding another store, Mountain View Hyundai, to Ringgold. Mountain View Auto Group is operating eight other dealerships in the East Tennessee/North Georgia area: Mountain View Chevy, Ford, Lincoln, Nissan, and Mountain View @153 and Pandora Motor Sports, all located in Chattanooga, Nissan of Dalton located in Dalton, and a Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram store located in Ringgold.  
 
General Manager LeBron Clark stated, “We’re very excited to have two dealerships in Ringgold.

Mountain View Auto Group acquired Pye Hyundai and is the only Hyundai dealership in North Georgia. The store relocated from Dalton to 7154 Nashville St. in Ringgold. Mountain View Hyundai’s sales department is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. The service department is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and their certified service technicians are equipped to service all vehicle makes and models.

Cleveland Receives $25,000 Grant To Create New Dog Park

The city of Cleveland has been selected to receive a $25,000 grant for the creation of a new dog park. The grant is being funded by the Boyd Foundation as a part of the foundation’s Dog Park Dash grant program to make Tennessee the most pet-friendly state in the United States. Man Shot And Killed On Arlington Avenue On Wednesday

A man was shot and killed on Wednesday afternoon on Arlington Avenue at the Bayberry Apartments. Chattanooga Police responded around 5 p.m. and found the victim. Officials said it appeared to be the result of a disorder between the suspect and the victim. The investigation is ongoing.   (click for more)

Firefighters Battle 2-Alarm Fire On Workman Road Tuesday Morning

Chattanooga firefighters were dispatched at 6:03 a.m. on Tuesday, to a commercial fire at 400 Workman Road.
